The lighting is not great, but you can get an idea of how it looks now. On the bottom shelf are two cloth storage bins from Ikea that I had, and in between those is a candle holder I had laying around that I placed my make-up brushes in and the Q-tip canister was in the closet. The middle shelf has two candle holders on each side that were also in our house, and the box in between those are soaps that I got from Homegoods (they have such pretty soaps if you ever have a chance to check it out - great for looking pretty in a bathroom or as a gift). Top shelf...plant in the middle was in our house already and the soaps on either side are also from Homegoods. Not only do the soaps look pretty but they smell so good. I still want to add a decorative hook or two underneath the shelf, but it's fine for now. Ok, enough about the shelf.
Did you get a chance to read the article in the New York Times today about the online shelter magazine surge? Thursday is one of my favorite mornings because I get to read both the NY Times Home section and Style sections, but I was even more interested this morning when I saw the first page of the Home section with this article. Interesting and worth a read.
Speaking of the NY Times Style section, and since I'm already in vacation beach mode, I spotted a really pretty beach cover-up by Echo and went to the Echo website to check out what else they had. So many pretty things!
Here is the beach cover-up that I saw in the Times - I can't enough of the colors!
I'm also in love with this hat and might just have to treat myself to an early birthday gift.
And this beach tote comes in various colors too - so many options!
Echo's website is definitely worth checking out - they even have bath, bedding, stationary - lots of eye candy!
Have a great weekend!
