A Few Etsy Favorites

There are certain Etsy favorites that I have saved that I can't get out of my head...let's just say I might be making quite a few post-holiday purchases. Although I'm such a wimp when it comes to hitting that checkout button. Also, I finally downloaded the Etsy app on my iPhone and it's awesome! I think I love it more than browsing on our actual computer.

Ever since I laid eyes on Bubblegum Betty I've wanted the print - I don't even have a definite place for her yet but I'll make one. I wasn't sure if she'd go in Sheila's room right now or wait for Sheila's big girl room some day.

I'm sort of obsessed with this pillow. I've determined I need some black in our house.

In other news...I also got started on painting the drawers of this beast, which is the main dresser in our master bedroom. You can read more about it in my previous post about my plans for the master.

I'm still playing around with some ideas and fabrics to be used for draperies.

Hopefully my head will be clear in a few weeks. For now, I'm enjoying the holiday season with my family - I can't get enough. The music, the sparkle of the lights at night, the anticipation - I love it.

Have you been able to tackle any projects amidst the holiday hustle and bustle?

  1. Hey, Holly! Cute print! Etsy has the greatest art, can't really remember what we did before this when it comes to finding unique stuff! Can't wait to hear more about the master and see that dresser redo! We haven't touched our master since we moved in and we really didn't do anything then anyways...its definitely more of a junk pile room than a peaceful sanctuary, been considering tackling some projects in there too:) Nope, didn't get any of my other house stuff done that I wanted to before the party, and I'm definitely not going to get anything other than shopping and wrapping (and hanging out with my sis who's in from London) done this week. Christmas is going to be here before we know it!!!! Hi to Sheila for us:)

  4. I love the pillow with Bubblegum Betty, too! And I'm dying to see what you do with the dresser. Good for you for getting that going. The last project I did was the fabric covered bulletin board, and then we focused on getting ready for a visit with long-time friends we haven't seen in a while... more of that in my post coming out tomorrow! I have so many projects I want to get at, but probably no more before Christmas! I'm loving the twinkling, sparkling evenings here too :-)
