Lost and Found

Hello Monday! It is a gorgeous one here in PA.

Well, I had fun doing my last Lost & Found post and it got such a great response from you that I figured I would continue it. AND, it gives me motivation to explore places on my "to-do" list which is always fun.

A week or so ago I took a drive over to Woodmere Art Museum - only about 5-10 minutes from my day job. I was able to view two current exhibitions that are going on right now one is the work of Doris Staffel and and the other is Alex Kanevsky. Both artists are so impressive. The artwork above is by Alex Kanevsky.

It was so interesting to read about each piece of art and also the history and background on each artist. If you are local, I would highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. I actually ended up getting in for free the day I visited because they were doing some renovations. They do jazz nights on Friday's and they have a bunch of other special events and panel discussions that look really good.

I picked these two up at Lowe's last weekend. I've been wanting to try a small succulent for a while, so I figured I would give this one a whirl. I've been leaving it in a window and spritzing it a few days a week. The spritzer was $2.99 - came in green and pink. You know how I love functional and pretty paired together.

Have you been to a local museum lately?

**Two technical blogging related bits:
- My about page isn't functioning for some reason. You may have noticed that I got a new domain so my site is being redirected, so for some reason whenever I saved my edits it isn't redirecting properly. I haven't been able to figure out the fix yet, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know. It's driving me a wee bit crazy.

- Secondly, I just had to delete a bunch of uploaded photos from my Picasa album, which I haven't had to do yet. I guess that means I've uploaded a lot of photos.  A year and a half of blogging will do that I suppose.

Have a great day!

  4. What a fun outing, Holly! We have First Fridays here - the first Friday of the month all the art galleries in an area near downtown are open with apps & such. It's a fun popular outing. Can't believe that cute spritzer was at Lowes!
